More than 8,000 professional dancers from around the world will parade through Prague’s city center, moving from Old Town Square to Wenceslas Square.
The parade will take place on Friday, June 28, coinciding with the opening ceremony of the Dance World Cup.
This prestigious international competition is held annually in various countries, and in 2024, the Czech Republic has been chosen as the host.
Participants will gather at Old Town Square at 16:30, and the parade will begin at 17:30, moving towards Wenceslas Square where the opening ceremony will be held.
The ceremony will last until 20:00, with all competing countries presented from the stage.
The Dance World Cup itself will be held at the Prague Congress Centre from June 27 to July 6. The competition will feature young athletes, aged 4 to 25, performing in a variety of genres, including classical ballet and street dance.
According to Prague City Hall, the event is expected to attract around 20,000 guests to the city.
