From June 21-23, the inaugural Troja Music Festival will be held, co-founded and artistically directed by renowned violinist Josef Špaček.
The festival promises extraordinary musical experiences with six concerts in unconventional venues and a welcoming, informal atmosphere.
Attendees can look forward to performances by top musicians from the Czech Republic and abroad.
The festival ensemble, led by Josef Špaček, will be joined by the Ivan Herák Dulcimer Band, the Epoque Quartet, mezzo-soprano Bella Adamova, and actor Martin Myšička, who will perform at the closing concert.
Each concert’s genre and repertoire will match the atmosphere and character of its venue. The opening concert will be held in the Imperial Hall of Troja Castle. The dulcimer band will perform at St. Clare’s Vineyard in the Botanical Garden.
Two-afternoon concerts in the courtyard of the former Troja brewery, now Kolovna ZOOna, will feature a string orchestra and the Epoque Quartet, appealing to families.
The final concert will be outdoors at the zoo, which visitors can explore with an extended ticket.
