With the increase in outdoor dining as countries across Europe begin to reopen, many will look for some stunning views to go with their cold drinks.
Which makes the idea of rooftop bars in particular quite appealing. It’s an easy way to avoid any major rush in a lower part of the building, you can chill out in a cooler area due to the altitude and that’s before you even get to the variety of cocktails on offer.
Taking into account online reviews from Google, Tripadvisor, and previous media coverage, as well as input from the editorial team of Big 7 Travel on factors including rooftop views, design, and drinks list, they have revealed the hottest places to sip ‘n’ social distance this summer.
Two Prague bars have been listed in this special list. The popular Balcony bar, located at Jungmannovo nám. has been ranked as the 7th best rooftop bar in Europe.
“Balcony Bar is a charming rooftop bar in the very center of Prague, with a view of Národní třída and the National Theatre. It’s inspired by hip rooftop bars in cities such as New York or London, but with a historical Czech take on it.,” writes Big 7 on this bar.
In 43rd position is another Prague spot, T-Anker, on the roof OD Kotva with absolutely stunning views of the Old Town.
Big 7 says: “Sit right here on the terrace of T-Anker with breathtaking views to sip on the best from the world of beers and gastronomy. Every week they change their beer menu; their 12-faucet has the best Czech and world specials to sample.”
