Bilingual Summer Camp Blends Science and Taiwanese Culture in Prague
Prague Morning

This summer, Prague offers a unique opportunity for children aged 7 to 12 to engage in a bilingual camp that combines hands-on science projects, cultural discovery, and natural Chinese language learning — no prior knowledge of Chinese required.
The camp creates an inclusive environment where all materials are provided in English, and tutors fluent in both English and Czech guide the children.
The program is led by educators from Pingtung University, Taiwan, alongside a qualified Czech teacher, ensuring expert support throughout the camp.
Participants will take part in exciting STEM activities such as designing insulated homes, building wind turbines, and creating eco-friendly water filters.
These projects foster creativity, teamwork, and a practical understanding of science.
Cultural immersion is an essential part of the experience. Children will explore Taiwanese traditions through calligraphy, and play traditional games like diabolo and shuttlecock kicking.
This hands-on approach encourages curiosity and helps expand cultural awareness.
The camp also offers a chance for kids to meet peers from various cultural backgrounds, making new friends while broadening their horizons.
Space is limited to 20 participants, so early registration is recommended.
