Booked a Taxi, Got a 'Fake Taxi'-Prague Tourist's Hilarious Airport Ride
Prague Morning

A weekend trip to Prague took an unexpected turn for an English tourist when the taxi she ordered to the airport arrived with a rather infamous license plate.
Gloria, a Londoner, booked a ride to Prague Airport through Bolt at the end of January. As the driver confirmed the order, she was taken aback—the car’s plate read “FAK3 TAXI”, a clear reference to the well-known adult film series.
“I showed the plate to my friend, and we just burst out laughing,” she told What’s The Jam. “At first, we thought it must be a joke and that the real plate was different.”
Despite the unexpected twist, the driver, Miroslav, showed up as scheduled and completed the trip without issue.
“He was very nice,” Gloria added, recalling the unusual but amusing farewell to her weekend in Prague.
“I wasn’t thinking quickly enough to cancel and order another because we didn’t think it would be real. I only checked the reg when he arrived which is what most people do I think.
“But in these situations especially in another country and when it’s a long ride to the airport it’s probably best to not take the risk, even if it’s a joke.”
A spokesperson for Bolt said: “Drivers are self-employed and may choose their own custom number plates. Bolt doesn’t own vehicles.”
