From Iron Maiden to Calvin Harris: Czechia's Biggest Music Festivals in 2026

Prague Morning

Each summer, the Czech Republic turns into a key stop on Europe’s festival map.

In 2026, the country will again host some of the continent’s largest music events, drawing tens of thousands of visitors from abroad.  Rock, metal, electronic music, pop, punk, and experimental genres will fill cities, former industrial sites, lakesides, and historic fortresses.

One of the earliest major events will be Rock for People, held from June 10 to 14 in Hradec Králové. Now running for more than three decades, the festival remains one of Central Europe’s largest rock gatherings. The 2026 lineup includes Iron Maiden, Gorillaz, Bring Me The Horizon, Limp Bizkit, Halsey, Megadeth, and Tom Morello. The event will take place at Park 360 and span five days across multiple stages.

Later in June, Metronome Prague will run from June 19 to 21 and move to a new location for the first time. The 2026 edition will be held at the Letňany Fairgrounds. The lineup features Sting, Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds, Manic Street Preachers, The Flaming Lips, Slowdive, and Purity Ring. Unlike many large festivals, Metronome remains focused on city-based access without camping.

From June 26 to 28, Mighty Sounds will return to Tábor. The festival is dedicated to punk, ska, and hardcore and has built a strong reputation across Europe. The 2026 program lists Pennywise, The Exploited, The Casualties, Skindred, Agnostic Front, and The Selecter. More than 130 acts are scheduled across eight stages.

At the start of July, Ostrava will host Beats for Love from July 1 to 4. The electronic festival takes place in the former industrial complex of Dolní Vítkovice. The 2026 lineup includes Calvin Harris, Marshmello, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Pendulum in a DJ set, Dimension, and Paul van Dyk. The site will feature more than ten stages set among blast furnaces and factory halls.

Running partly in parallel, Obscene Extreme will take place in Trutnov from July 1 to 5. The cult festival focuses on extreme genres and attracts fans from around the world. In 2026, the lineup includes Converge, Eyehategod, Pro-Pain, Macabre, Jungle Rot, and The Dwarves, alongside dozens of other underground acts.

Mid-July will bring Colors of Ostrava, scheduled for July 15 to 18. Known for its broad musical range, the festival combines pop, rock, electronic music, and alternative genres. The 2026 headliners include Twenty One Pilots, Lorde, Moby, and Teddy Swims. The event again returns to the Dolní Vítkovice area and focuses on a compact but carefully curated program.

Heavy music fans will head to Vizovice from July 16 to 19 for Masters of Rock. The 2026 edition will feature an anniversary show by Helloween, along with In Flames, Marilyn Manson, Lordi, and many other metal acts. The festival remains one of the most established metal events in the region.

From July 30 to August 1, Let It Roll will take place at Lake Most. Widely regarded as the world’s largest drum and bass festival, it continues to attract visitors from across Europe and beyond. The announced 2026 lineup includes Pendulum and Modestep performing live, as well as Andy C, Aphrodite, Current Value, Fox Stevenson, Maduk, Monty, Nghtmre, Reaper, Rusko, and Zardonic. The program will also include numerous back-to-back sets and emerging artists.

Early August will see Brutal Assault return to the Josefov Fortress in Jaroměř from August 5 to 8. The site will once again be transformed into a dense, multi-stage festival space. The 2026 lineup includes Body Count, Primus, Wardruna, Katatonia, Perturbator, Amenra, Sólstafir, Triptykon, and Behemoth. The festival is known for covering a wide range of extreme and experimental metal styles.

At the same time, Brno will host Pop Messe from August 6 to 8. The festival focuses on contemporary pop and electronic music. Acts confirmed for 2026 include Overmono, Oklou, Logic1000, Current Joys, and Jadu Heart.
