"La Mouka" Brings Twists to Italian Food a Few Steps from I.P. Pavlova

All-day breakfasts, Italian wine with salty tartlets, handmade pizza, and pasta, open kitchen with a varied menu you can find this all in one place.

My friends often ask me to recommend a place for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, and also to have a meeting over a glass of wine. They are always surprised that for each of these occasions I recommend only one place: La Mouka.

La Mouka is an Italian restaurant which is located near I.P. Pavlova, where you can also have a delicious lunch (during weekdays from 12 am to 2 pm there is a 20% discount on the entire menu), meet friends for a cup of coffee with some dessert, watch how homemade pasta is prepared on open kitchen and just take a break from the bustle of the city.

I like everything in here: the picture on the wall, light and air, the presence of an air conditioner, a cozy summer terrace, an open kitchen, a relaxed atmosphere, and a bar.

I love this place, especially because of its budget and varied menu. It was my next impression after the local atmosphere  – well-coordinated menu, with a pleasant selection of simple dishes, each of which, nevertheless, has some kind of light flirting: Pasta Carbonara (180 czk); Caesar with chicken (160 czk); Pizza Margherita with fresh basil (170 czk) and Lavender Lime dessert (130 czk)

La Mouka is special because of its first-class service; I do not often meet such a high level of service. They treat everyone friendly, with the utmost care and respect.  As it turns out later, the restaurant management has a lot of experience with Hyatt and the Ritz-Carlton.

I also would like to note the opportunity to try Italian wine and prosecco by the glass before buying a bottle. To be honest, I saw such small and stylish glasses for the first time in my life. My friends and I love to come here in the evening to discuss how the day went, and at the same time to take salty tartlets with wine.

They always have a lot of them in the window and these tartlets always have different tastes. I suggest the one with blue cheese and pear. They are aesthetically beautiful, they do not crumble, and do not require utensils. These tartlets are completely homemade which is ideal for catering in boxes, which La Mouka has already done more than once.
