Metronome Festival 2024: Three Days to Go!

The 7th edition of the Metronome Prague festival will start on 20 June. As usual, the event takes place at Výstaviště Praha.

A jam-packed and unique program awaits you

An exclusive premiere at Metronome Prague features the dazzling British superstar, singer Raye, who took home six awards from this year’s Brit Awards.

Making his Prague debut, Marc Rebillet will bring his original and energetic show without any pre-set rules. Another dream come true for festival goers and organizers is the premiere of the French duo The Blaze, promising an unforgettable experience for both eyes and ears!

London singer Michael Kiwanuka, with his Ugandan roots, will return to Prague, showcasing his magical mix of soul, psychedelia, funk, and gospel, as one of the biggest discoveries on the British music scene.

Two performers will celebrate birthdays during this year’s event: British electronic music icon Kosheen, featuring the charismatic singer Sian Evans, will bring a unique show to Prague, reflecting on 25 years of their career.

Michael Kocáb will celebrate his 70th birthday grandly at Metronome Prague 2024, returning to the stage after four years. His comprehensive show will include Pražský výběr, the Czech National Symphony Orchestra, Jiří Korn, Vladimír 518, and many others.

Homegrown talents like Lake Malawi, Sofian MedjMedj and friends, this year’s Anděl award winners for Album of the Year November 2nd, We Are Domi, Bert & Friends, and many more will also perform.

The packed lineup features other big names from around the world, such as Milky Chance, Tom Grennan, Allysha Joy, Meute, Dadi Freyr, this year’s Brit Awards winners The Last Dinner Party, and CMAT.

The Rap Club will host the iconic Ghetts, along with the young but already very successful Ayrtn and Rushy, as well as Czech rappers Paulie Garand, Czech rap legend James Cole, Redzed, Rohony, and others like Meizyy, Annet X together with Nobodylisten.

With trees inside and around the area in Stromovka, air-conditioned KÅ™ižík pavilions for tropical heat, solid ground in case of rain, there’s always a place to sit and relax with family or friends.

Plus, there’s a rich accompanying non-musical program and a food zone that will take your taste buds on an adventure.

A new addition is the Podcast Stage, where you can watch live recordings of your favorite podcasts, and the Opero Forum, which will host various interesting discussions and slam poetry.

For the first time at Metronome Prague, organizers are also opening the Met Gallery, an exhibition space for contemporary art, where you can participate in 3D printing one of the artworks.

Metronome Fair will also offer a rich children’s program, puppet theater, and modern circus. For the most playful attendees, there are fun quizzes, escape rooms, a rope center, and a skatepark.
