Morcheeba Celebrates 30 Years With Concert in Prague

Prague Morning

British trip-hop pioneers Morcheeba are marking three decades in music with their new album, Escape The Chaos, and a tour that brings them to Prague on October 26 at SaSaZu.

The band’s core members, Skye Edwards and Ross Godfrey, will perform live, presenting twelve new tracks that span their distinctive sound and enduring appeal.

Fans can also expect hits such as “The Sea,” “Trigger Hippie,” “Blindfold,” and “Rome Wasn’t Built in a Day.”

The album, a result of two years of collaboration, sees Godfrey returning to Morcheeba’s signature recording style, with the band playing together in a single room.

Singles like “Call For Love” and “We Live And Die” have already gained international attention, combining the band’s classic sound with reflective, heartfelt lyrics.

Ross Godfrey explains the album’s intent: “This record is about reconnecting with what really matters—whether it’s in your heart or in the world. It’s about feeling grounded and not getting distracted by everything else.”

With over 10 million albums sold worldwide, Morcheeba has built a reputation for blending electronic music with organic instrumentation and Skye Edwards’ distinctive voice.

Morcheeba’s story began thirty years ago with a chance encounter in South London. Ross Godfrey, then 18, invited Skye Edwards to his flat in Dalston after hearing she could sing and write songs. “I played a song on the guitar, very quietly, and they liked my voice. And the rest is history,” Edwards recalls.

Tickets for the Prague concert on October 26, 2025, starting at 8 p.m., are now available here
