* PUBLIC TRANSPORT:
On Monday, 29 April, the reconstruction of the tram line in Dlážděná and Havlíčkova streets in the centre of Prague started. In connection with the repairs, the operation of several tram and bus lines is significantly limited. The restrictions will last until Saturday 29 June.
* EVENTS:
Billie Eilish will perform at Prague’s O2 Arena on June 1, 2025. Tickets for the concert, priced from CZK 1,250, will go on sale to the members of LiveNation from May 2, and to the general public a day later.
* WEATHER:
Tuesday should be clear and dry around the country with day temperatures between 22 and 27 degrees Celsius.
* CULTURE:
During their recent meeting, the Prague City Council approved a donation of CZK 6 million to the Prague Audiovisual Endowment Fund for 2024. The fund supports the presentation of the capital city through audiovisual productions, promotes the sustainable development of the local audiovisual industry and motivates Czech and foreign productions to implement the principles of green filming.
* REAL ESTATE:
Apartment prices are rebounding, with Karlovy Vary and Ostrava seeing over nine percent increases year-on-year in Q1. While Prague remains stable, cities like Brno and Pardubice have recorded rises. Yet, prices still lag behind mid-2022 peaks.
