The National Theatre will celebrate the launch of its 2025/26 season with an expansive, free event on Monday, 1 September 2025, from 14:00 to 22:00, taking place outdoors on Střelecký Island in Prague.

The National Open Air festival brings together every artistic ensemble of the National Theatre.

Attendees of all ages can enjoy dance and vocal performances, creative workshops, a zone for children, and opportunities for meet-and-greets with actors, dancers, and creators.

Throughout the day, the program includes a charity bazaar featuring clothes donated by National Theatre artists, a zone dedicated to sustainable fashion (NDup), a book and poster stall, promotional material, a photo booth, and ticket sales.

Alongside cultural programs, there will be refreshments, opportunities for pleasant socializing, and an evening concert to cap it all off.

Entrance to the event is completely free. A detailed schedule will be announced at a later date, following the tradition of previous seasons.
