Sixteen New Brands Enter Czech Market in First Half of 2025

In the first half of 2025, 16 new brands entered the Czech retail market, with fashion and gastronomy leading the way.
Gastronomy saw five new arrivals, including Germany’s dean&david, which opened in Prague’s Máj department store, with further branches planned.
Ukrainian seafood chain Chernomorka, Croatia’s Koykan, Austria’s Seven North, and Italy’s Ciao Spritz also launched their first locations in Prague.
The fashion and accessories sector welcomed six new brands. Highlights include Slovakia’s BeLenka (barefoot shoes), U.S. cap brand New Era, and outdoor gear specialist Peak Design. Germany’s s.Oliver Black Label opened in České Budějovice, and Italy’s Blukids debuted in Prague.
The beauty segment grew with Bath & Body Works and Ksisters entering the Czech market. CHANEL opened its first standalone Fragrance and Beauty boutique in Prague’s Savarin Palace.
The luxury sector is expected to see unprecedented growth this year, with upcoming openings from Ermanno Scervino, Grenardi, Damiani, and Pasquale Bruni within the new Fairmont Golden Prague Hotel on Pařížská Street. Perfume house Nicolaï will open in July on Široká Street.
Beyond fashion and food, new arrivals include Another World (U.S. virtual reality arena), Germany’s Canyon Bikes, and discount giant Woolworth, which opened in Třebíč.
More Brands Coming in the Second Half of 2025
Anticipated openings include the popular bakery-café Cinnamood, sushi chain Sushi Circle, Swedish fashion and café concept Arket (part of the H&M group), and German drugstore Müller.
Other upcoming newcomers include Polish jeweller Savicki, Austrian gym Speedfit, fast food brands Wendy’s and the long-awaited Five Guys, eyewear retailer Kodano, Italian beauty brand Kiko Milano, sneaker store Worldbox from the CCC Group, and café chain Reborn Coffee.
Savarin Palace is also set to host Piano Bar, a Polish concept offering live music every evening.
