Oasis in Prague? Online Tour Schedule Sparks Fan Speculation
Prague Morning
Rumors of an Oasis concert in Prague have been spreading online, exciting fans across social media…
A circulating list of European tour dates claims that the Gallagher brothers will perform in Prague’s Letňany on July 12 next year, with Kasabian listed as the supporting act.
But Czech concert organizers say the story doesn’t hold up.
Ondřej Pojzl of Live Nation, the country’s biggest promoter of international concerts, told iDNES.cz that Prague is not on Oasis’ schedule.
“I don’t know the details of the European tour, but I know it won’t be Prague,” he said, adding that he doubts any other promoter would take on the show. Live Nation also handles Oasis concerts in the UK and abroad, making it unlikely that another organizer could step in.
So far, Oasis’ management has not issued any statement on the supposed tour. Liam Gallagher himself has only fueled speculation by posting the cryptic word “Turdos” on X.
The British band is currently in North America, performing shows in Canada and the United States. In September, they are scheduled to return to Wembley Stadium in London before heading to South Korea, Japan, and Australia.
When asked earlier this year whether Oasis would perform in continental Europe, Liam Gallagher responded bluntly: “We won’t be playing in Europe.”
That answer has done little to quiet rumors, with fans continuing to speculate about possible dates in Rome and Madrid. In Italy, Rome city councilor Alessandro Onorato even confirmed on Radio Sei that “negotiations are underway” to bring the band to the capital.
For now, however, Prague fans will likely have to keep waiting.
