United Islands of Prague Festival transformed Pragueโ€™s islands and several clubs into a vibrant hub of music and cultural exchange, drawing over 45,000 visitors across four days.

More than 100 artists from Europe took to 23 stages across Stล™eleckรฝ ostrov, Slovanskรฝ ostrov, Nรกmฤ›stรญ Vรกclava Havla, Janรกฤek Embankment, and various venues.

This year, the main stage held a special location on the Vltava River, offering a stunning view from the Charles Bridge.

The festivalโ€™s opening day celebrated European unity, with President Petr Pavel, Vice-President of the European Commission Vฤ›ra Jourovรก, and representatives from the government gathering to mark the 20th anniversary of the Czech Republicโ€™s EU membership.

On the second day, the โ€œSymphony for Humanityโ€ concert, delivered a powerful message against xenophobia and prejudice, demonstrating Pragueโ€™s commitment to inclusivity.

Among the festivalโ€™s highlights were performances by British singer-songwriter AJ Wonder, Hungarian band Freakinโ€™ Disco, Austrian group Dives, Slovenian pop-rockers LPS, German act Lonely Spring, Polish artist Baasch, Faroese Islanders Joe & The Shitboys, Angel Award winner MC Gey, and Czech rapper Rohony.

Local talent also shone, with Good Times Only, Glad For Today, Severa, Jay Delver, and Cringe Prince taking the stage.

โ€œWeโ€™ve successfully refreshed the festivalโ€™s lineup,โ€ said festival producer Martin Voลˆka. โ€œCollaborating with Klubovna, we provided a platform for young talent from Europe. I was particularly impressed by the Slovenian band LPS, MC Geyโ€™s performance, and the electrifying atmosphere during the Symphony for Humanity concert with Ben Cristovao, Sofian Medjmedj, and the Unique Orchestra.โ€

โ€œTwenty years after joining the EU, we believe itโ€™s crucial to commemorate this milestone annually,โ€ added co-producer David Gaydeฤka. โ€œWe are deeply grateful to everyone who participated in the Symphony for Humanity concert. United Islands of Prague has undoubtedly solidified its place as a major cultural event in Prague.โ€
