Pařížská Street is Now Among World's Top 20 Most Expensive Shopping Destinations
Prague Morning
Prague’s Pařížská Street has secured a spot among the world’s most expensive retail locations, entering the global top 20 for the first time, according to this year’s survey by Cushman & Wakefield.
The ranking evaluates the priciest shopping streets in 141 countries, selecting only one flagship location per market.
The rise reflects steady demand from luxury retailers seeking entry to Central and Eastern Europe. Annual retail rents on Pařížská reached €2,820 per square meter, an increase of about four percent year-on-year.
The street has now overtaken premium retail areas in cities such as Amsterdam and Kuala Lumpur, marking one of its strongest jumps in the past decade.
London’s New Bond Street remains the world’s most expensive retail address, with annual rents climbing to €20,482 per square meter, far surpassing any other location. Its 22 percent annual growth rate also stands out, especially when compared with the global average increase of about 4.2 percent.
