The first Easter markets have begun in Prague, and others will follow suit in the coming days.
You can find typical decorations, customary sweets, and other Easter-related items to guests.
The markets will also hold cultural activities such as traditional music and dancing performances, children’s painting workshops, and artisan workshops.
A tall birch tree will be planted on Old Town Square, and multicolored ribbons will be stretched between the market booths. Visitors will be able to ascend the viewing platform, which will be adorned with flora and animal images.
It’s worth noting that in 2023, Catholic Easter is on April 9th and Orthodox Easter is on April 16th.
