Prague Food&Good: Cafe Elektric

Kateřina and Tereza, food lovers who run the successful Instagram channel kamvpraze, will share with us at Prague Morning a weekly food tip. We’ll discover together new openings in the city, hidden cafes, bistros, or well-renowned restaurants.

Finally, we got a brunch again from our favorite Cafe Elektric. We tried their new delivery menu, which they prepared for us to offer us a way to get their amazing brunches even in this hard times.

We must admit that we were a bit skeptical in regard to the menu – it was not really consisting of any dishes we would normally order. Nevertheless, we decided to kinda “step out of our comfort zone” and try something new – and it was such a great choice!

So what did we get? We tried their Super Food Bowl made out of avocado, mango, coconut milk, and banana, served with homemade granola, raspberries and coconut chips. We truly have not tried better bowl yet and trust us, we have had hundreds of them already. Moreover, thanks to the coconut milk and avocado, the bowl was really filling – we truly recommend this dish.

Next, we got their avotoast with grilled halloumi which was also delicious. As a proper brunch must include a great coffee we also got a great cappuccino with soya milk which really made our day!

To sum up, it was such tasty healthy food and we really cannot wait to visit the café again – especially their outside seatings which have already been opened since last Monday! So what do you think? Will you stop by?

Located in the grand setting of the Kolowrat Palace in the heart of the Old Town. The atmospheric attic of this building houses the chamber stage of the Kolowrat Theatre while the fabulous Gothic cellars conceal a great cafe/bar.

Healthy options are pretty much a must these days if you run a restaurant or a café in a big city. The people at Café Elektric know this and have vegetarian and also vegan dishes, so you can come in with all your veggie friends.
