Three Men Charged with Raping Disabled Girl in Prague Park
Prague Morning
Police in Prague have arrested three Slovak nationals accused of raping a disabled girl in a city park.
The incident took place in Malešice after the victim arranged to meet one of the suspects, whom she had first connected with online.
According to investigators, the man was not alone when he arrived. Two of his friends later joined him in the park.
The three men allegedly forced her despite her resistance and repeated cries for help. After the assault, they are said to have stolen her mobile phone and a gold chain.
The victim reported the crime immediately, prompting a swift police operation. Within 14 hours, officers located and detained the suspects at a hostel and on the street in Malešice.
Police later released footage of the arrests, confirming that the attack had taken place the previous Wednesday.
Jan Daněk, spokesman for the Prague police, confirmed that all three suspects are Slovak citizens between the ages of 22 and 25.
“They are being prosecuted for the crime of rape, which carries a possible sentence of up to 12 years in prison. Two of them also face charges of theft. Investigators have requested they be remanded in custody,” Daněk said.
The police have not disclosed the victim’s age or the nature of her disability, citing privacy protections.
