Modrý Anděl Kids: the Family-Friendly Travel Option in Prague
Prague Morning
For families in Prague without a car, getting around the city with young children can be complicated.
Public transport isn’t always practical with strollers, and most taxis or ride-hailing apps don’t offer child car seats—even when requested in advance.
Czech law requires that children under 150 cm or 36 kg use a proper restraint system. But in practice, very few taxi services are set up to meet this standard.
That’s why many parents are turning to Modrý Anděl, one of the few companies in Prague that lets you book a taxi with a child seat.
On their website, parents can choose from infant carriers, convertible car seats, or booster seats, depending on the child’s age and size. The company recommends booking at least 12 hours in advance to ensure availability.
Multiple seats can be requested in the same vehicle if needed.
Drivers are trained in proper handling and installation, and the cars are spacious enough to fit strollers or extra bags.
Modrý Anděl also offers child-only transport, useful for regular trips to school or after-school activities. These rides are arranged individually and carried out by selected, experienced drivers.
For Larger Families or Group Trips
For families needing more space, Modrý Anděl’s XL Business service provides fully equipped Hyundai Staria vans with seating for up to 8 people.
These vehicles are ideal for airport transfers, family events, or trips outside Prague. Each car includes Britax Römer child seats, tinted windows, leather interiors, and advanced safety features.
Fixed pricing and trained drivers ensure both comfort and peace of mind.
