French electronic producer Rodriguez Jr. will perform his acclaimed Hybrid Live show at W Prague on Saturday, October 4.

The concert is part of W Presents, a global music series hosted by W Hotels.

Born Olivier Mateu, Rodriguez Jr. began his career in France under the mentorship of techno pioneer Laurent Garnier as part of the duo The Youngsters.

Since then, he has released music on internationally respected labels such as Mobilee, Anjunadeep, Systematic, and Armada. His productions have earned him a reputation as a leading figure in melodic techno and house.

Unlike a traditional DJ set, Rodriguez Jr.’s Hybrid Live performance blends analogue synthesizers, live instruments, and real-time improvisation.

The result is a cinematic soundscape that combines pulsing beats with atmospheric layers — a style that has taken him to major festivals and venues including Tomorrowland in Belgium, Sziget in Budapest, CRSSD in California, Space in Miami, and London’s Fabric.

The Prague performance is one of more than fifteen W Presents concerts staged this year at W Hotels worldwide, from Budapest and New York to the Maldives.

Curated by W Hotels’ music director LP Giobbi, the series brings together both established and emerging artists. Past editions have featured Channel Tres, Aluna, Franc Moody, and Bora Uzer.
