Irish low-cost carrier Ryanair is set to launch direct flights between Prague, and Catania, a vibrant city located on the eastern coast of Sicily.
Commencing operations on October 31, 2023, this new route will provide travelers with convenient and affordable travel options between the two destinations.
Ryanair will operate on the Prague-Catania route twice a week, with flights scheduled for Tuesdays and Saturdays. The flight duration is estimated to be approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes.
Tickets for flights are already available for purchase, and prices for one-way fares start from 1,500 CZK.
Catania offers visitors a taste of Sicilian charm, with its picturesque coastal setting, UNESCO-listed Baroque architecture, and proximity to the majestic Mount Etna volcano.
Walking through the streets of Catania, visitors will encounter magnificent buildings adorned with intricate facades, such as the stunning Catania Cathedral and the famous Palazzo Biscari.
