Get Rid of Stress! Inside Prague's First Smash Room
Prague Morning
Prague has welcomed its first Smash Room, a space where visitors can legally let out their frustrations by smashing televisions, plates, furniture, and electronics.
Known in other countries as “rage rooms” or “anger rooms,” the concept offers a controlled environment where people can release stress in a safe and supervised way.
Guests are equipped with protective suits, helmets, and gloves before picking up a baseball bat, hammer, or crowbar. Sessions take place under staff supervision, and advance reservations are required.
Unlike more traditional leisure activities such as escape rooms or shooting ranges, Smash Room Prague offers something deliberately destructive. Visitors can demolish cabinets, crush old printers, or shatter glassware without worrying about consequences—or cleanup.
The operators emphasize that safety and environmental responsibility are central to the project. All breakable items are sourced from second-hand outlets, collection yards, and buybacks. After each session, staff sort the debris—glass, wood, metal, plastic, and electronics—for recycling.

The space caters to a wide range of visitors: individuals seeking stress relief, couples looking for an unusual date idea, groups of friends, bachelor parties, or corporate teambuilding events.
A standard package, priced at 690 CZK, allows up to two people to spend about 20 minutes smashing 15 smaller items—such as glasses, plates, or porcelain—and one larger object, usually small electronics. The total time requirement is roughly 30 minutes, including preparation.

Location and Details
Smash Room is located at Barrandova 2431/9, Prague 12. The venue is open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., but visits must be booked in advance through the official website.
