Why Superland Is a Go-To Indoor Playground for Prague Families
Prague Morning
On winter afternoons in Prague, when outdoor playgrounds are empty and temperatures keep families indoors, parents often look for places where children can stay active without spending the day moving from one location to another.
One such place is Superland, an indoor entertainment centre located inside OC Galerie Butovice, on the city’s western edge.
Spanning 2,500 square metres, Superland is designed as a self-contained space where families can spend an hour or an entire day.
More than twenty attractions are spread across age-specific zones, including a protected area for toddlers. Everything inside meets European safety standards, a point that becomes obvious in the way staff supervise play areas rather than simply monitor them.
The atmosphere is lively but controlled, the kind parents tend to notice only when it works.
The centre’s location adds to its appeal. Galerie Butovice sits directly above the Nové Butovice metro station on Line B, making Superland easy to reach from across the city, while drivers benefit from straightforward parking.

The centre has positioned itself as a destination for birthday parties and group visits, particularly for kindergartens and primary schools. Six themed party cabins—ranging from Pink Unicorns and Penguins to Jungle, Space, Balloons, and Bears—offer enclosed spaces where celebrations unfold without spilling into the wider park.
The party format is deliberately hands-off for parents. Decorations, a personalised cake, food, and a structured programme are included, with optional extras such as face painting and animators available for those who want to go further.
Children can also take part in culinary workshops, preparing simple dishes themselves, an activity that manages to feel both playful and surprisingly calm amid the surrounding noise.

Superland’s on-site restaurant serves an extensive menu aimed at children and adults alike, while an in-house confectionery produces fresh desserts throughout the day. It allows families to stay longer without resorting to snacks pulled from backpacks or rushed trips elsewhere in the mall.
On weekends, the experience expands further through a partnership with FunFun, a Prague-based children’s animation company known for live games and interactive performances. Every Saturday and Sunday, visitors can join an hour of free animation, adding a structured burst of energy to the otherwise free-flowing play.
More information about FunFun’s programmes can be found here.

Superland operates daily from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., with pricing structured to encourage weekday visits. Admission costs 549 CZK on weekdays and 599 CZK on weekends. Children under one year of age, adults accompanying children, visitors over sixteen, and holders of ZTP or ZTP/P cards enter free of charge.
Reduced weekday admission is available for children under four, and frequent visitors can purchase a ten-entry pass for 4,000 CZK. Tickets are available both online and at the venue.
