Like beef burgers, but open to a healthier, plant-based alternative? What if it didnโt compromise on taste and texture, contained all essential nutrients in ideal proportions, and had minimal impact on the environment? Here it is: the first nutritionally complete, plant-based alternative to the traditional beef burger! Manufactured by all-Czech company Heaven Labs.
The Mana Burger is the first nutritionally complete burger in the world and contains the ideal balance of protein, fat, carbohydrates, and fiber. It is composed of premium plant ingredients, which the company tests in its state-certified laboratories.
A full alternative to meat, the burger (130 g) provides 20 g of high-quality protein from peas, rice, hemp, mung beans, and algae (no soy). It is also high in fiber (4.2 g), rich in omega-3 DHA and EPA fatty acids, and delivers a 22-g mix of 5 different oils: algae oil, coconut oil, flaxseed oil, sunflower oil, and canola oil. It contains 14 vitamins and 24 minerals, natural dyes from beetroot, red pepper, and caramel, and is both low-carb and low-sodium. And with no added glutamate, no animal products, no gluten, no GMO, and no allergens, it can be eaten by anyone!
Mana recently launched pre-sales of its long-awaited burger in the Czech Republic (mojemana.cz), USA (drinkmana.com), and Germany (drink-mana.de). One package will include 20 portions and will cost $73. Delivery to Europe will begin in March of 2020, and to the U.S. in the summer of 2020. The company expects gradual availability in supermarkets soon after deliveries begin.

From Europe to the USA
Created in 2014 by young visionary Jakub Krejcik, Mana Powder was Europeโs first functional food. Krejcik founded Heaven Labs out of his garage the same year with little startup capital and no assistance from investors. His intention was not just to engineer a peak-nutrition powder, but an economical, environmentally-friendly product that would accelerate the sustainable food movement. In recent years, Mana has triggered a shift in the way people think about eating. Every month, the company sells 300 tons of food across the European Union. To date, it has sold more than 11 million meals worldwide.
On December 1st, the company launched U.S. sales of its bestselling Origin Powder, for a price of $2 per meal, as well as its Starter Kit, which consists of an original Mana Nalgene bottle and a stainless steel measuring scoop. Sales of its ready-made drinks and other powder flavors are expected to launch in the first half of 2020, and sales of the burger in the second half of 2020. It will come in packs of 20 at a price of $73.
โWhat a true honor. We were the first producer of complete-nutrition powders in the European Union, and are now the first producer of complete-nutrition burgers in the world. We are thrilled to already be sharing our powder with the U.S. and plan to do the same with the burger next summer. This is not a food intended for vegans only. On the contrary. It is an alternative for lovers of meat and beef burgers who want to eat healthy food thatโs nutritionally complete and environmentally friendly. We are convinced that this is the healthiest plant burger in the world,โ says Mana founder and CEO Jakub Krejcik.
