Titanic Exhibition in Prague Continues Through the Christmas Holidays
Prague Morning
The Titanic – The Artifact Exhibition has been open in Prague for several weeks and remains accessible throughout the Christmas holidays.
Hosted at PVA Expo Prague in Letňany, the exhibition offers visitors a detailed and carefully documented look at life aboard the Titanic, drawing on original objects, reconstructed interiors, and first-hand passenger stories.
Upon arrival, each guest receives a replica boarding pass bearing the name of a real passenger who once traveled on the ship. This element accompanies visitors throughout the exhibition and frames the experience from an individual perspective.
The exhibition covers more than 2,500 square meters and is divided into several galleries. Visitors move through reconstructions of first- and third-class cabins, pass the Paris Café, and walk alongside a full-scale engine room. One section allows visitors to touch a real block of ice, referencing the environmental conditions that played a role in the disaster.
Hundreds of original artifacts recovered from the Atlantic Ocean are displayed across the galleries. These include personal belongings, technical components, tableware, and items used by both passengers and crew.
The exhibition also features a cinema space, a visual presentation of the wreck on the seabed, a life-size outline of a lifeboat, and a memorial section dedicated to the victims.

Sound design supports the narrative throughout the exhibition, shifting between music associated with first-class areas and the mechanical noise of the ship’s machinery. The exhibition is organized by RMS Titanic, the American company that holds exclusive rights to recover artifacts from the wreck site.

Admission includes a free audio guide that leads visitors through the exhibition using verified accounts from real passengers. The guide explains daily routines on board, meals served during the voyage, and the changing mood as the journey progressed, relying on historical records rather than dramatization.
The exhibition runs until May 22. Opening hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 19:00, and Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays from 9:30 to 19:00.

The venue is closed on December 24 and 25, December 31, and January 1. Standard admission costs 380 CZK on weekdays and 400 CZK on weekends. Additional information and tickets are available online.
