The unique team race UniCredit Prague Relay is back after three years.
The popular run, in which friends or colleagues can measure their strength against others over four five-kilometer stretches in the Stromovka Park, will start on Thursday 23 June at 6 p.m. at the Prague Exhibition Center.
“We are delighted that the UniCredit Prague Relay is coming back after the pandemic and we can get Prague running again without limitations,” says Carlo Capablo, President of the RunCzech organizing team. There are the traditional Open categories for bankers, businessmen and diplomats again, and the category of medical professionals has been newly expanded, including the corps of the integrated rescue system as well.
“I am really glad that we have the honour to be the title partner of the popular team race Prague Relay, which is returning to the capital city after three years. It’s great that after a challenging period we can meet and welcome hundreds of enthusiastic runners again,” said Tomáš Drábek, Head of Retail Banking at UniCredit Bank.
The sports presenter Jiří Ježek also put together his team. “The relay gives running a great charge of team spirit. I am looking forward to it every year! Everyone can do five km and it is the best teambuilding for companies,” the former six-time Paralympic champion and six-time world champion in cycling said.
Good spirit, the right amount of competitiveness, unique atmosphere. This is the UniCredit Prague Relay, one of the most popular runs in the Czech Republic run by teams of four.
The event can also be conceived as teambuilding, a bachelor party or a school reunion after a few years, while at the same time raises the profile of your project or company during the run. There is only one condition: each team member must run a quarter of the 20-kilometre course, i.e. five kilometers.
There are also special Open categories for representatives of banks and members of the Czech Banking Association (Bank Cup), integrated rescue system units (IZS Cup), employees and members of chambers of commerce (Chambers Cup) and members and staff of foreign diplomatic missions, consular offices and cultural centers of foreign countries (Diplomatic Cup).
