Vrtbovská Garden to Shine for Just One Night Next Week!

For just two evenings a year, visitors have the rare chance to experience Vrtbovská Garden under ceremonial illumination.

This year, the first opportunity will be on April 8, 2024, with the next one scheduled for autumn 2025, marking the end of the season.

This exclusive event offers a new perspective on one of Prague’s most stunning Baroque gardens.

Walk among the illuminated sculptures of Matthias Bernard Braun, admire the frescoes by Václav Vavřinec Reiner, and step into the studio of Mikoláš Aleš.

The garden’s terraces provide breathtaking nighttime views of Prague, with landmarks such as Prague Castle and the Church of St. Nicholas glowing in the distance.

Access to Vrtbovská Garden is through Vrtbovský Palace, located on Karmelitská Street. Nestled on the slopes of Petřín Hill, this UNESCO-listed site is one of Prague’s most exquisite Baroque gardens, often overlooked by tourists.

For this special event, visitors can enter at the regular admission price, making it an unmissable opportunity to witness the garden’s magical atmosphere at night.
