Starting December 3, the carrier will introduce a new route to Amsterdam, with flights four days a week.
The departures will always be on Tuesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, according to a press release. Vueling currently operates three routes from Prague Airport to Barcelona, Paris and Florence.
“We are extremely pleased to announce today the launch of our new line,” said Charlotte Dumesnil, Vueling’s director of sales, distribution and alliances.
“Vueling’s goal is to continue to contribute to the new standards in the air and tourism industry, to restore connectivity and to offer new destinations for both tourists and sales representatives,” she added.
The new route is a welcome change for airport staff, who are looking forward to a revitalization in tourism as travel picks up again.
“Vueling’s new air connection between Prague and Amsterdam will offer more opportunities for Czech passengers who are planning an extended weekend in Amsterdam but will also support the renewal of inbound tourism. The Netherlands is one of the selected countries in which we are currently focusing on supporting incoming to Prague,” said Jaroslav Filip, Director of Aviation at Prague Airport.
