Czech Airlines Resuming Flights to Selected Destinations in May

CSA Czech Airlines announced plans to resume the following Prague services from May, 2020.

The company expects to add additional routes as conditions allow in the following weeks. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the company stopped all scheduled flights to and from the Czech Republic in March.

as early as 18 May 2020:

• Amsterdam up to 13 flights a week
• Frankfurt up to 6 flights a week
• Paris up to 21 flights a week
• Stockholm up to 2 flights a week

as early as 24 May 2020:

• Kyiv up to 7 flights a week

as early as 25 May 2020:

• Odessa up to 3 flights a week
• Bucharest up to 6 flights a week

You can already book June and later flights to other destinations.

In March, the parent company of CSA, Smartwings group, halted all flights to and from the Czech Republic, bounding over 90 percent of its fleet. The entire group moved 4,900 passengers in April, which is one percent of the volume they handled in the same period last year.

CSA joins several carriers that have already resumed operations at Prague Airport. The first carrier was Eurowings Airlines, with connections to Düssledorf. Then, KLM resumed daily flights to Amsterdam. Bulgaria Air and Belavia are also operating regular flights to Sofia and Minsk.
