Country’s biggest outdoor swimming pool – the Brno Riviéra – has opened for the public.
Its capacity is 8000 people and the fee is the same as last year – 200 CZK for the adults, 100 CZK for the kids all day.
The Brno Riviera is formed by a 390-meter-long cascade of three pools in an artificial riverbed dug in a former branch of the Svratka River.
The first part is a wide wading pool only 40 centimeters deep, with a capacity of around 650 children. The middle part is suitable for non-swimmers and holds up to 800 people. The third part is designed for around 700 swimmers and can be divided into six 50-meter-long swimming lanes.
In the recent past, the outdoor paddling pool got richer for numerous water attractions: fountains and tree-shaped showers.
