A 14 Square Meters Apartment Designed as a Subway Car is Up for Rent in Prague
Images of an apartment styled as a metro carriage has been shared across social media. But this isn’t a novelty – the owner has listed the apartment’s lease as tourism dries up in the city due to Coronavirus. It is located in the Zizkov district, in Prague 3.
The owner clearly has a warm feeling for Prague’s subway. The apartment comes in at just 14 square meters but has been packed with details that any Prague traveller will recognize: front doors, handrails, seats, armchairs, and even a window.
Previously, this and another studio of a slightly larger size were rented to tourists by the day. But in these difficult times, the owner has decided to switch to long-term rentals.
The cost of the apartment is 7500 CZK including all bills.
