The Hummus Bar opened its doors for the first time back in 2015, initially named Hummus Nofech.
Since then, it changed name and location, but one thing remains the same: the delicious, vibrant Mediterranean food they prepare.
Since day one, the main goal was to offer the best hummus and experience with an authentic Mediterranean taste in Prague.
The creamy chickpea dip with middle east origin became very popular, and you can find it almost everywhere – but finding a genuine, good quality may be a challenge.
In The Hummus Bar, they prepare fresh hummus without preservatives every day.
The offer is extensive – from the original hummus, baba ganush, to one with hard-boiled egg, mushrooms, grilled chicken, kebab, or falafel – everyone can find the right one for their taste preferences.
In addition to hummus, you get their pitta bread which they freshly bake in their bakery, and let me tell you; it’s so light and delicious.
Together with pita, they also bake their baklava, which I suggest you add to your order.
There are two chefs in charge in the kitchen, one from Israel and one from Lebanon, both giving a special touch to the dishes.
The menu offers a wide range of options. From already mentioned hummus to shakshuka, meat-based dishes, falafel, and salads – so you can choose both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options.
Portions are significant, and quality is something owners are very keen on – everything is freshly made from high-quality products from which almost 90% are imported from the Middle east.
The Hummus bar is located in Prague 9 and offers a beautifully atmospheric place to eat. At the moment, they are providing takeaway through Wolt, Bolt Food, or Dame Jídlo.
You can also order directly through the restaurant where all the orders are free delivery and a 10% discount. Orders are available every day from 10 am-9.30 pm.
