Travis Scott Announces First-Ever Concert in Prague

The global rap phenomenon Travis Scott will perform in Prague this summer with his first-ever concert in the Czech Republic.

With hundreds of millions of streams annually, sold-out stadium tours in the US, and a string of high-profile brand collaborations, Scott’s influence is undeniable.

Scott’s musical style has been described as a “blend between traditional hip-hop and lo-fi” and often characterized as “ambient,” with a heavily appraised influence from rappers Kanye West and Kid Cudi.

His stage name is derived from the latter’s real name, Scott Mescudi, combined with the name of a favorite uncle.

The North American leg of the tour was a huge success, driven by the critically praised “Utopia,” Scott’s fourth album.

The album received critical acclaim and was the highest-selling hip-hop release of 2023. It held the No.1 spot on the Billboard Top 200 for four consecutive weeks and gained over 50 billion global streams.

Spotify named it the most streamed album in its first week, while Apple Music confirmed that it had the biggest first-day streams of any album in 2023.

Scott has a long list of achievements. He’s scored four number-one hits on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart and has been nominated for major awards like the Grammys, BET Awards, and MTV Video Music Awards.

Throughout his career, he has worked with Beyoncé, Kanye West, Justin Bieber, Pharrell Williams, Drake, and The Weeknd. In 2020, he also collaborated with video game Fortnite and created the ASTROWORLD festival.

Beyond music, Scott has made a name for himself in fashion, working with giants like Nike, Air Jordan, and Dior on more than twenty-one sneaker designs.

Pre-sales for his Prague concert start on 9 May.
