Ambiente Group has introduced its first fast-food venture in the heart of Prague – Burger Service, located at Revoluční 1.
Under the supervision of chef Radek Peck, it will serve mainly burgers, fries, a few other side dishes, and either soft drinks or beer in a can. Meat from the Chester breed is supplied by Amaso (part of the same group), the buns are baked in-house and will be open all week from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
The menu at Burger Service is as straightforward as possible. The Classic Cheeseburger, Bacon Cheeseburger and Double Smash Burger are complemented by classic fries, coleslaw, and fried cheese.
Chef Radek Peck highlights their burger preparation process, saying, “we wrap the burger in fresh buns so the flavor of the just-baked patty combines with the freshly cooked meat. Moreover, we have tested that after twenty minutes it tastes even better than if it is eaten right away”
The packaging is also important. It is made of Ideabrill material and is said to be able to replace bowls and foil. Its production and use have a much lower environmental impact than conventional paper or plastic packaging. Burger Service says a burger wrapped in Ideabrill stays fresh and juicy for longer.
Ambiente doesn’t stop here; they have more exciting ventures in the pipeline. Štangl, a new restaurant, has recently opened above the popular Eská, while Marie B on Dlouhá Street is the brainchild of the culinary experts behind La Degustation Bohême Bourgeoise.
Chef Jiří Šoura and his team have crafted a four-course menu for guests, with a twist – diners won’t know the contents until they are served. As chef Oldřicha Sahajdák describes it, Marie B promises to be an intimate, playful, and fresh dining experience.
