July 29-30: International DJs to Perform in Prague at Křižíkova Fontána

If you’ve missed heading out to listen to some of the biggest international DJs performing in Prague this year, you’re in luck. The two-day Sound Open Air festival will take place on July 29-30 at Křižíkova Fontána – Výstaviště Holešovice. Announced international headliners are Jan Blomqvist, and Monika Kruse. The headliners Berlin-based singer, songwriter, and bandleader Jan Blomqvist merges intricate, club-friendly tech-house with tuneful, melancholic pop. His songs are filled with minimal yet propulsive beats, detailed production, and yearning vocals recalling Thom Yorke. Monika Kruse is a German techno DJ/producer and record label owner, with a career in electronic music spanning more than 25 years. She played an influential role in the early Munich rave scene during the early 1990s and was among the first wave of German techno artists to tour internationally, before moving to Berlin at the end of the decade where she founded her Terminal M record label. Kruse remains a prominent fixture on the international house and techno scene, with regular appearances at major European events like Awakenings and Time Warp, and is also known for her long-term commitment to social justice via her No Historical Backspin charity that she founded in 2000. Prague’s New “Dining in the Sky” Location Revealed

“Dinner in the Sky” is an amazing dining experience combined with an exclusive environment, spectacular views, cuisine from renowned chefs, and all of this at up to 50 meters above the earth. A crane lifts the table with 22 guests to a height of up to 50 meters above the earth. When this event first began in the Czech Republic ten years ago, many conventional gourmets were quite skeptical, suggesting that they don’t need to be hung somewhere in the air to enjoy delightful cuisine. Dinner in the Sky first started when Belgian entrepreneurs David Ghysels and Stefan Kerkhofs devised this concept. Bike-Sharing to Become an Extension of Prague’s Public Transport

“An extension of Prague’s public transport” – this is how representatives of Nextbike, the largest domestic bike-sharing company, talk about their upcoming project with the city administration. According to them, Prague could become the first Czech city in which public transport tickets will include bike-sharing. According to Tomáš Karpov, the director of operations at Nextbike, every holder of Lítačka could simply unlock a bike to get to a destination faster and for free. “Right now, we are in the negotiation process with the Prague city company Operátor ICT and the city’s PID. We are discussing whether the idea is technically feasible at all. But if it worked out, it would be great for Praguers. I would like to point out that the Lítačka could then be used to unlock bikes from even our company’s competitors,” explains Karpov. “Nextbike already operates in 23 cities in the Czech Republic, including Prague. Signal Festival 2021 will take place from Thursday 14 October to Sunday 17 October in the streets of Prague 1, 7, and 8. This Amusement Park in Nymburk is Full of Fun (And Not Only for Children)

In Mirakulum in Nymburk, you will discover a number of fun attractions. Children can conquer a fantastic wooden castle, play in a giant sandbox or get through the pitfalls of the rope jungle.
