July 25-30: Dive Into the Magical World of Circus with ‘Senses’
Cirk La Putyka and Finnish director Maksim Komaro are celebrating the essence of circus in their latest performance, “Senses.” This captivating production combines various circus disciplines and theatrical genres, such as aerial and ground acrobatics, teeterboard jumps, juggling, pantomime, contemporary dance, magic, clowning, and object work. With nine performers and contributions from Finnish creators, including choreographer Ilona Jäntti and lighting designer Juho Rahijärvi, “Senses” captures the free, playful, funny, and imaginative nature of the circus. The music is composed by Jan Balcar, and costumes and makeup are designed by Kristina Záveská. Tickets for July 25-30 at Prague’s Jatka78 venue are available on GoOut.
