Sara Bejlek, 16, has already made a name for herself at the US Open thanks to an awkward video that has gone viral of her coach and father patting her butt at the game. As the cameras lingered, both men were seen patting her on the backside with her father seemingly kissing her on the mouth, which has caused massive outrage across the US. Nedved burst onto the world scene at Euro 96, when he was just 23 years old. The grand moment has arrived; after the ranking games earlier today, we have finally reached the CEE Cup Final which sees Slavia Prague take on Palmeiras. The Brazilians have been here before, twice in a row, and they won both times. The Czechs, on the other hand, will dispute their very first final ever. Palmeiras have proven to be a veritable force of nature, having scored 12 goals so far and taken in only 1. Slavia, instead, have only 4 goals for and 3 against. The CEE Cup for under-19 footballers will see the return to Prague of the Brazilians of Palmeiras and, for the first time, the English of Aston Villa After a three-year stop due to Covid, one of the most important youth football tournament in the country, the CEE Cup, is returning. The matches between six elite U19 teams will take place at Sparta’s training grounds in Strahov, on Admira in Kobylisy and the final, as per tradition, will take place in Vršovice’s Ďolíček, from the 22 to the 26 of July. “We are thrilled to finally be able to host the tenth edition in all its glory, with many thanks to all the partners who have supported us,” says tournament director, Roberto De Blasio. Sparta will face two Latin-American teams, while Slavia has been paired with Aston Villa and Dynamo Kyiv The top U19 international football tournament, which in the past has seen the likes of Tomáš Souček, Adam Hložek, or Alex Král compete in it, is finally back in Prague after a three-year “Covid” hiatus. The CEE Cup will kick off on July 22nd with the group stage and end on July 26th with the Final. Today, the LOS determined the program for the two groups composed of three teams each. The unique team race returned in a big style to Prague’s Stromovka Park on Thursday 23rd June, after a three-year pause caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. Nine hundred teams of 3 600 runners signed up for the popular race to compete with colleagues or friends over four five-kilometers stretches, filling the maximum capacity of the race to the very last place. “We are overwhelmed by the huge interest the UniCredit Prague Relay has generated. The atmosphere on and around the course was fascinating, it was obvious that people really enjoyed the race,” said Carlo Capalbo, President of the RunCzech organizing team.
