The seventeenth edition of Colour Meeting Festival invites you to Czech and international music and theatre scene.
Great female singers – Lenka Dusilová, Katarzia, Amelie Siba, music award Vinyla-nominated Palma, or a Turkish singer Ilaey – will perform under the medieval walls of Polička on July 24-25.
Bert & Friends, Slovak rapper Čavalenky, songwriter David Pomahač, legendary band Hm… are arriving with their new albums, and also a surprise of the festival, Bosnian star Dubioza Kolektiv, who is selling out stadiums across the continent.
“Dubioza Kolektiv at Colour Meeting 2020? Yes, if the fortune favors us and the borders are open during the festival, “ says the festival’s program director Dušan Svíba. “Due to the absolute uncertainty that all the organizers are experiencing these days, we were faced with the decision to cancel Dubioza’s performance or wait until the last moment and keep hoping. We have chosen the second option; wishes are supposed to be fulfilled. The corona crisis has also caused the program to be unusually composed almost exclusively of domestic artists this year. But the interest in tickets is huge, so we are pleased. “
Singer-songwriter Jakub König returns with the prestigious Anděl Awards winning ensemble Zvíře jménem podzim, a new project by the famous Czech musician and artist Jaromír 99 under the name Letní kapela, bluesman Jan Fic accompanied by Město band, rising electro stars Bratři, electro-pop project post-hudba, unique Hungarian trio Terra Profonda and Czech-Belarusian avant-garde Zabelov Group will perform as well.
A heavy vibe will provide the post-punk band Rány těla and rockers from Olomouc, Lee. Theatre performances will not be missing for adults nor the little ones. Visitors can look forward to the Vít Marčík Theater, the Líšeň Theater, the Kejklíř Theater and Theatre Pruhované panenky.
Tickets are sold at GoOut.
