Smokers who use smoke-free alternatives can now enjoy their habit in a taxi.

The start-up Svez.se has launched a new service in collaboration with Philip Morris ČR., introducing IQOS-friendly taxis in Prague. This initiative addresses the needs of customers who prefer smoke-free options while traveling.

To order an IQOS-friendly taxi, download the Svez.se app from the App Store or Google Play. Alongside choosing the car type and payment method, users can now request an IQOS-friendly vehicle through the app.

These cars display “Here you can enjoy smoke-free products” and a smoke-free icon. They are equipped with containers for used cartridges, chargers for IQOS devices, and a unique fragrance to enhance the passenger experience.

Svez.se was founded by Jakub Paroulek and Kornel Altman, former Czech Republic rowing representatives. Their start-up aims to provide reliable rides with fixed prices and 24-hour telephone support.

“Only professionals drive for our service, and it is important for us to know them personally. This close contact helps us understand that our customers who use IQOS often ask if they can use these smoke-free alternatives while driving. As we constantly innovate based on customer feedback, we decided to be the first in the Czech Republic to allow smoke-free alternatives in our cars,” explains Jakub Paroulek from Svez.se.

This innovation is a result of Svez.se’s collaboration with Philip Morris ČR., formalized in a joint memorandum.

We value the trust of over half a million adult smokers in the Czech Republic who have switched to these alternatives and aim to provide excellent service. It’s great news that we can now offer this innovation to our customers in Prague,” said Fabio Costa, CEO of Philip Morris ČR.

All Svez.se drivers are professionally trained, and although the aerosol produced by IQOS does not leave an odor, regular ventilation of the vehicles is ensured.
