The season of free music concerts at the beautiful Valdštejnská zahrada (Wallenstein Garden) in Prague continues.
The events are organized by the Senate of the Czech Republic. Entrance is free.
The concerts are held every week, with the starting time always the same – 17:00.
The concert schedule for June is as follows:
On Wednesday, June 7th, there will be an unscheduled concert in the garden – for the first time in 60 years, the Prague Symphonic Chorus will perform a jazz program. Entrance is also free of charge, but the start time is different – it will begin at 20:00.
The garden was created at the same time as the Wallenstein Palace in the early 17th century, in the lower part of the Malá Strana District. It displays a fine example of Mannerist layout and decoration, with very diverse sections.
It is dominated by an aisle lined with bronze sculptures, an impressive Sala Terrena, and an amazing artificial grotto.
During the last renovation in 2012, the appearance of the gardens was restored into the original state from 1920’s.
Address: Wallenstein Garden (Valdštejnská zahrada), Letenská, Praha 1 – Malá Strana.
