"Our World Is Not Your Game": Greenpeace Protests Tesla Near Prague

Greenpeace activists gathered early Wednesday morning at a Tesla showroom in Čestlice, just outside Prague, to protest against Elon Musk, Donald Trump, and what they described as a growing threat to the environment and civil society.
Shortly after 7 a.m., about ten activists from the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Austria, Slovenia, and Poland climbed onto the roof of the building and unfurled a large banner reading “Our world is not your game.”
In front of the entrance, they placed a figure showing Musk and Trump setting the planet on fire.
The protest was announced in a statement from Greenpeace, which criticized both corporate and political leaders for attacking environmental groups, scientists, and independent media.
“This is a response to the way billionaires and fossil fuel companies undermine not only climate efforts but also civil society,” Greenpeace wrote. “Donald Trump and his allies in business dismiss the climate crisis in public and on social media, weakening support for environmental protection.”
Antonie Formanová, an actress and granddaughter of Czech filmmaker Miloš Forman, joined the protest in person. She said she was motivated by concerns about freedom of speech and growing fear in public life.
“I’ve always seen the freedom to express yourself as essential—both in art and in everyday life,” she said. “But I see people becoming afraid again, even in places where that wasn’t the case before. I don’t want to stay silent, and that’s why I’m here. Greenpeace is doing what needs to be done to keep important voices from disappearing.”
The Tesla showroom was closed at the time, with regular hours starting at 10 a.m. Police and firefighters arrived on site soon after the protest began but did not intervene.
According to Lukáš Hrábek, a spokesperson for Greenpeace Czech Republic, the protest is not aimed at disrupting business.
