Hairdressers in the Czech Republic are reopening for business, along with pedicures, manicures, spas, and rehabilitation centers on Monday, May 3.
However, it must be noted that both staff and clients will have to follow certain safety rules and guidelines. First, each member of staff will have to work with only one client at a time.
In addition to this, social distancing must still take place, with customers and clients having a distance of 2 metres between them. Lastly, all clients must either be fully vaccinated, have a negative COVID test or proof of having had the virus in the last 90 days.
Antigen tests are valid for 72 hours after collection, PCR tests for seven days.

The Czech government will allow the reopening of all shops, markets, and selected cultural facilities from May 3. The minister of industry and trade, Karel Havlíček, said such changes could occur if the number of cases fell to below 100 per 100,000 inhabitants weekly.
The government has also recently presented a six-stage plan for a gradual easing of coronavirus restrictions.
The plan is based around six so-called “easing packages”, or stages of re-opening. The first has been in force since April 12 and included, for example, the reopening of selected shops, farmers’ markets and zoos.
For stage three to come into force there will have to be fewer than 100 cases per 100,000 people over a period of seven days. For stage four to be activated the number of cases will have to lie at 75 within the same period. For stage five it will have to be 50 cases and for stage six 25.
