A major rally supporting Ukraine is set to take place in Pragueโs Old Town Square on Sunday, February 23.
Titled โTogether for Ukraineโ, the event coincides with the eve of the third anniversary of Russiaโs full-scale invasion of Ukraine. The gathering is scheduled to begin at 3:00 PM.
The rally is organized by Million Moments for Democracy, a prominent Czech civil movement known for its large-scale political demonstrations, alongside People in Need, the European Congress of Ukrainians, and the non-profit organization Memory of the Nation.
Speakers will include Czech President Petr Pavel, representatives of the organizing groups, and individuals who have contributed to aiding Ukraine or have directly benefited from Czech support.
The organizers are encouraging attendees to bring Ukrainian, Czech, and European flags and symbols, emphasizing inclusivity and unity.
โCome and show the world that we support Ukraine and will continue to support it as long as necessary. In the Czech Republic, we can inspire the world with our determination to help brave Ukrainians in their fight for freedomโand ours,โ the organizers stated in their announcement.
Last year, a similar rally organized by the same groups also took place in Old Town Square, drawing thousands of participants.
