TEDxPragueYouth 2026 to Tackle Pressure, Climate Anxiety, and Identity
Prague Morning
TEDxPragueYouth 2026 will take place on April 13 at the Prague Planetarium, bringing together young speakers, activists, researchers, and creators to discuss the pressures facing today’s generation.
Under the theme “What’s to become of us?”, this year’s event will focus on issues such as climate anxiety, social media pressure, constant comparison, and the challenge of finding direction in a rapidly changing world.
Organizers say the goal is not to provide simple answers, but to create an open discussion about how young people can shape their future instead of simply reacting to the world around them.
The event will feature six TEDx talks from speakers with different backgrounds:
- Veronika Gibi Podlasová, artist, chef and co-founder of The Bowls
- Tereza Dejmková, a Strategic Communication student and head of the educational platform Based
- Filip Trhlík, machine learning researcher at the University of Cambridge and co-founder of Verifee
- Jakub Nekvasil, founder of an educational climate project
- Marek Mach, Slovak activist and co-founder of Mladí, o.z.
- Jan Špaček, political scientist and satirical comedian

According to the organizers, TEDxPragueYouth 2026 will focus on young people who are questioning traditional ideas of success, redefining expectations, and openly sharing their experiences.
TEDxPrague was founded in 2009 as a non-profit initiative inspired by the global TED movement. It organizes talks and events around the idea of sharing stories and ideas that can inspire discussion and change.
Tickets for the event are available through GoOut, while more information can be found on the TEDxPrague website.
