Renowned British electronic music pioneers, The Prodigy, are scheduled to make a highly-anticipated return to Prague on December 7, 2023, as part of their captivating โArmy of the Antsโ Tour.
Currently in the midst of an exhilarating lineup of international festival headline shows for the spring and summer season, the band is set to kick off their tour on November 28 in Luxembourg.
Originating in Braintree, Essex, UK, back in 1990, The Prodigy was formed by Liam Howlett, Keith Flint, and Leeroy Thornhill.
With their distinctive fusion of techno, breakbeat, big beat, and hardcore, the group gained widespread recognition.
Their debut album, โExperience,โ released in 1992, played a significant role in shaping the 90s rave scene. In 1994, their second album, โMusic for the Jilted Generation,โ earned them a Mercury Prize nomination.
A groundbreaking moment arrived in 1997 with the release of their album โThe Fat of the Land,โ which triumphantly claimed the top spot on charts in both the United States and Britain, garnering two Grammy awards. This album featured the iconic hits โFirestarterโ and โBreathe.โ
Following the tragic loss of their charismatic frontman, Keith Flint, in 2019, the band faced a challenging period but has now returned with a revitalized energy to continue their musical journey.
Prepare to witness their electrifying live performance at Pragueโs Fortuna Sportovnรญ hala on December 7.
Tickets for this unmissable event are currently available for purchase through Ticketmaster and Ticketportal.
