The National Museum will be celebrating its 200th anniversary today and tomorrow with free admission and special programs.
Seven buildings of the National Museum in Prague, including the Náprstek Museum of Asian, African and American Cultures, the Museum of Music and the museum’s depositories in Prague’s Horní Počernice and Terezín will be accessible free of charge until Sunday evening.
The Náprstek Museum on Betlémské náměstí currently has an exhibit on Native Americans as well as its long-term exhibits.
The Museum of Music on Karmelitská street will have tours, some of which require online registration. There will be a lecture on historical dancing as well.
You can visit for free also the Bedrich Smetana Museum at Novotného lávka and the Antonín Dvořák Museum.
