It’s here. The annual celebration for the founding of the Czechoslovak Republic. But this year’s festival will be the biggest yet for the 100th anniversary. The festivities begin on Friday, September 28 (St. Wenceslas Day) and end on Sunday, October 28. This celebration month includes exhibitions, concerts, theatrical performances, concerts and opening days of renovated buildings.

- Interactive walkthrough of the National Theater
- Národní 2, Prague 1
The National Theater is a true creation of the Czech state, representing the independent decisions of the state. Enjoy a thematic historical walk around the elaborate building. Mobile apps for smartphones allow virtual walks of places and moments that are part of Czech mythology.

- Exhibition: “Made in Czechoslovakia” at the National Technical Museum

Head to the National Technical Museum for an exclusive exhibition “Made in Czechoslovakia” that explores the technical and industrial innovations of independent Czechoslovak state from 1918 to 1992. Important Czechoslovak companies, figures and technological advances will be on display, along with the history of each part. These inventions are purely Czechoslovakian and symbolize freedom. Part of the exhibition will also be a catalog of presented exhibits, not only within the exhibition itself but also in collections. The exhibit is on display until June 30, 2019.

- Demonstrations of Czech Armed Forces Techniques
- Letenská pláň, Prague 7
Watch a presentation of the Army of the Czech Republic show the current and historical techniques of the armed forces and the IZS components. There will be a three-day cross-sectional demonstration of the Armed Forces and Security Corps techniques from 1918 to the present day in addition to the 2018 European Class. There will be 153 pieces of contemporary, historical and special techniques included.
