Festivals and organizers work as hard as they can to provide this year’s edition. The reality is disappointing as more and more of the biggest festivals are canceled or postponed.
This is a list of festivals that is more likely to take place in the Czech Republic.
Let it Roll
Let it Roll is undoubtedly recognized as the biggest and most influential drum and bass music festival in Europe. The festival’s lineup represents the most important artists, presenting over 300 DJs and producers across its 8 stages, all of which have their own unique theme and vibe.
Drum and bass labels such as Hospitality, Shogun Audio, and Technique host their own showcases where you can track your new favourites and the next potential headliners, alongside workshops and discussions with the genre’s expert producers and industry professionals. As the organizers said: “Let it Roll is all about unparalleled, expansive visual and sound production (namely the must-see opening ceremony), ensuring that it retains the mantle of drum and bass’ finest event each and every year.”

Transmission Festival
Transmission Festival is recognized as one of the top indoor dance events worldwide and attracts every year thousands of visitors to the O2 arena in Prague. Since 2014, Transmission is expanding abroad and currently is organized on three continents – Europe, Australia and Asia. The music style Transmission represents is mainly trance, progressive trance, tech-trance and psytrance.
Transmission is a spectacular dance event that creates an unforgettable spectacular experience through a combination of electronic dance music, high-quality equipment, special effects, live acts, and special scenography.
What is unique about Transmission, is that it has exclusive themes related storylines which guides the visitors on a journey throughout the whole night. Organizers introduce the artists with special tailor-made ‘show movies’ and visuals. This year, Transmission Festival is ready to provide yet another unique experience with the brand new theme: BEHIND THE MASK!

Imagination Festival
The first edition of Imagination Festival took place in the spring of 2012. The event in the garages in Vyšehrad was divided into two parts (drum & bass and harder styles part) and was attended by over 1,500 visitors.
In 2018, the festival moved to the PVA Exhibition Center in Prague’s Letňany, where it still takes place. Imagination is the largest domestic festival focusing on drum & bass and harder styles. The festival offers a combination of modern electronic music genres and a unique audiovisual experience on two stages.

Beats for Love
Beats for Love is a festival dedicated to electronic music and it is one of the most popular music events in the Czech Republic. Beats for Love is held at the heart of the Industrial National Monument.
The surroundings of Lower Vítkovice area, full of iron scenery, will be filled with plenty of outstanding music and a rich accompanying program for four days. It creates an inconspicuous atmosphere, full of fun and entertainment. Fourteen festival scenes feature the best Czech and world art and DJs, as well as performers, dance groups, graphic artists and artisans featuring street art, digital and various audiovisual art.

Brutal Assault
Brutal Assault is an annual metal festival that has been held in Jaromer since 1996. Festival venue is the Josefov Castle – a defensive building of the 18th century. In 2020, among the festival participants were such famous bands as Mercyful Fate, Cradle of Filth, Katatonia, As I Lay Dying.
