Are you looking for some new places to eat? Here is a list of newly opened businesses in Prague! Mr. G’s Asian Riccardo Lucque, founder of La Collezione, recently launched a new project – Mr. G’s Asian. As the name suggests, the kitchen here is headed by “Mr. G”, or Greg, and unlike other projects from the group, the restaurant is based on Asian cuisine. Greg originally cooked for Aromi for two years. Riccardo Lucque was so impressed with his art that he decided to invest in Greg’s ideas and open a completely new concept. They have built the menu of the new venture around seafood and meat, and the individual dishes are perfect for sharing. Have the oysters for starters and for the main course try the seabream with chili jam, crispy garlic, mint and coriander or the pork belly with green mung beans drizzled with peanut dressing. Finish the meal with a glass of Italian Pinot Grigio or Sauvignon. Can’t leave the restaurant without a sweet spot? They’ll serve you coconut tapioca with your choice of seasonal fruit. If you visit the center of Prague or any Czech town on the 11th of November, you might see a man on a white horse leading a procession… These processions are in honor of St. Martin, patron saint of the poor, and the white horse represents winter and snow. Not only on this day but for most of November, look for restaurants serving goose and St. Martin’s wine (Husa a Svatomartinské vino) which is the traditional food for the feast day. The reason behind this tradition is that it is said a flock of geese betrayed St. Martin’s hiding place and we have been eating roast goose on this day ever since. One of the main celebrations will take place at Náplavka (Rašínovo nábřeží) on November 11. You can look forward to a traditional presentation of young wines from Moravia and Bohemia and goose delicacies such as traditional goose roast with dumplings, lokše (Slovak potato pancakes), or pasta with onion white and red cabbage, goose burgers or goose ragout with vegetables, roasted goose liver, goose soup “kaldoun”, and other goose delicacies. There will be a musical program as well. Wine will be tasted from the festival glasses. This gives the wine a chance to really highlight...

Letná in Prague 7 has been named among the 51 Coolest Neighbourhoods in the World to visit right now by Time Out. “Although it’s just across the River Vltava from Prague’s densely packed Old Town, vibrant Letná offers great contrast – notably thanks to its abundance of open space. In 1989, hundreds of thousands of Praguers huddled together at Letná Park in sub-zero temperatures to finish off communism,” describes David Creighton. “Today, on summer evenings, they play sport, have picnics, or head to the Letná beer garden for a drink with fabulous views of the Old Town below. The wider neighbourhood (along with neighbouring Holešovice) is part of Art District 7, and the Trade Fair Palace showcases modern art and merits a visit for the functionalist architecture alone. Of all Prague’s districts, Letná has notably bounced back since 2020, and the numerous eateries and independent shops are evidence of its strong local spirit.” The perfect day Grab brunch at Café Letka, then work it off by exploring the neighbourhood’s other green space: ancient Stromovka Park. Refuel with some locally-sourced international fare at The Farm Urban Kitchen and Coffee and take in a gallery or museum – the National Technical Museum, complete with a crop of vintage Škodas, is much...
