Four years after announcing that he’d lead an around-the-moon mission aboard SpaceX’s Starship spacecraft, Japanese billionaire Yusaku Maezawa has named the eight people he wants to fly with him. In 2018, Maezawa said he’d fund a mission aimed at letting creative artists on the level of the late Pablo Picasso or Michael Jackson experience a trip beyond Earth orbit. 137,000 new apartments worth almost 1.5 trillion CZK are currently being prepared in Prague. They could bring over 190 billion CZK to the state in VAT alone. In the long term, however, an average of only around 3,500 new apartments are permitted and built in Prague per year. Low-cost airline easyJet is now offering flights for the new route between Lisbon and Prague, the first from the capital to the Czech Republic. Winter is arriving across the Czech Republic as night temperatures are expected to plummet to -7C at night in parts of the country and sleet, frost and snow are forecast for some areas. During the upcoming weekend, the thermometers will vary from +1 to -3°C depending on the region, report the Czech Hydrometeorological Institute. According to the forecast, on Sunday, December 11, there will be snowfall all over the country with up to 20 centimeters in the eastern regions. The Czech Republic is not ready to meet the criteria for joining the Eurozone and the government should refrain from setting a date for adopting the euro, for now, a document presented by the finance ministry and the Czech National Bank says. The Czech Republic, one of the seven EU countries that do not use the common EU currency, committed to adopting the euro when it joined the bloc in 2004, though it is up to member states to decide on the date for introducing the euro. The construction of the largest solar array in the centre of Prague has commenced at the Prague Congress Centre. A total of 2,080 solar panels will be erected on an area of 7,000 square metres, which will save the Prague Congress Centre CZK 5.5 million a year in electricity costs. The solar power plant will be an addition to one of the largest energy savings projects in the Czech Republic, which is being implemented in the PCC by ENESA, a subsidiary of ČEZ ESCO. With lifelong habits taking an iron will to give up, experts at ICE Headshop utilised online analytics tool SEMrush to analyse phrases for the most common habits to establish which Europeans were trying to conquer most. Furthermore, Helen Norbury, Lifecoach and wellbeing expert, offer their expertise on how to kick your bad habits to the curb. Of the 40 European countries analysed 28 find smoking to be their hardest habit to give up, with combined online searches of 850,440 each year from Europeans hoping to find tips on breaking their nicotine habit. The United Kingdom (166,440), Turkey (124,560) and Spain (122,040) were among the top searchers. Czech Republic’s hardest habit is also smoking, with 18,360 searches. Alcohol is the second hardest habit to give up and features in the top results for many European countries, but is the hardest habit to break for just seven.
